JING SKIN

Natural skin rejuvenation with Microneedling

Designed to stimulate your skin's natural repair processes by encouraging collagen and elastin production, microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that can help improve the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone and texture, leaving your skin looking smoother, firmer and more radiant over time.

Unlike treatments that simply mask concerns, microneedling works by supporting your skin's own regenerative abilities, delivering natural-looking results that continue to develop in the weeks following treatment.

  • Evens skin tone

  • Softens lines

  • Improves texture

  • Fades pigmentation

  • Boosts skin glow

  • Shrinks pores

  • Targets sun damage

  • Reduces appearance of scars

What is microneedling?

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a treatment that uses fine, controlled needles to create microchannels within the skin. This process stimulates a natural healing response, encouraging collagen production and skin renewal.

At Jing Skin, we use the imedpen™ device which is specifically designed to deliver precise, consistent results across different areas of the face and body. It allows practitioners to adjust depth and speed to suit individual skin conditions and treatment goals,  This controlled approach supports consistent treatment outcomes and client comfort.

Microneedling
FAQs

1 / Does microneedling hurt?

Microneedling is generally well tolerated. Most clients describe the sensation as a light vibration or mild discomfort rather than pain. You can use a local anaesthetic / numbing cream prior to your appointment if this is something you are concerned about or know you are sensitive to.

2 / What will my skin look like after treatment?

Your skin may appear slightly red or flushed immediately after treatment, similar to mild sun exposure. This typically settles within 24-48 hours. Some clients may also experience slight dryness or tightness.

3 / How long does it take to see results?

Some improvements in skin texture and hydration may be noticeable within a few weeks. However, the most visible results develop over time as collagen production increases, especially after a course of treatments.

4 / Can I return to normal activites after treatment?

Yes, most clients return to normal daily activities shortly after treatment. However, it is recommended to avoid intense exercise (sweat), heat exposure, swimming, and certain skincare products for 24 - 48 hours (e.g. self-tanning products, make-up). It's also important to avoid sun exposure and use SPF 50 following treatment.

5 / Is microneedling suitable for all skin types?

Microneedling is suitable for most skin types and all skin tones. A consultation is always carried out before treatment to ensure it is appropriate for your skin condition and goals.

6 / Can I have other treatments alongside microneedling?

Other intensive treatments should be avoided (for around 2 days following treatment), these includes things like laser, injections, chemical peels, microdermabrasion. Certain active skincare ingredients should also be avoided following treatment (for around 5 days), including AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, retinoids, hydroquinone, high level kojic or azelaic acid and alcohol.
